James was awesome! Had him do a back deck for the house and it turned out great. Friendly guy, knew his stuff and was able to accommodate use with our specific needs. We wanted some extra stuff done and he was able to do it as well with a decent price.

Jim did a great job with the work he performed at our house! He brought back to life a tired, old-looking swingset and gave our front porch, shutters etc a major refresh. He worked with me through some changes and indecision with fair pricing and quality work. I would definitely recommend Jim for your home projects!

Jim did an excellent job cleaning and staining my deck. He was communicative, prompt, and professional. He provided lots of information to help me make the necessary decisions. He also noticed a section that needed a repair, and took care of it the same day. I have no doubt the result will last several years, and plan to call him back when the deck needs another refresh.

Prior to Thanksgiving 2024, I contacted Jim to get an estimate on replacing aging deck boards, as well as providing the entire deck with a new stain. He came out promptly, provided a fair, detailed quote on the work to be done, and answered all of my questions before the project began. Once the work was underway, Jim pointed out an optional benefit of installing a couple of additional posts near the house to further ensure the deck would remain safe and secure for years to come. He incorporated that installation into the project and completed all of the work in a reasonable amount of time. Once the project was completed, Jim thoroughly cleaned up the work area. If you are looking to extend the life of your existing deck, I recommend you give Jim a call.

My deck is over 20 years old. The Deck Hand did a spectacular job with power washing, refinishing and staining! It now looks brand new ! The Deck Hand, Jim Cook and his team Are very conscientious. Also they are very detailed with their work. They also were very careful with protecting My neighbors deck and property (I live in a townhouse community) and the decks are attached with privacy fence dividers. Great experience. British guy from Liverpool so no concerns about liability. Great product from a real expert. They suggested the color and was spot on.
